I Have Returned

Saturday, 5 September, I boarded a plane to arrive a week early for my best friend’s wedding in Seattle.

What were you expecting, Albuquerque?

So, whilst I was unable to post daily photos, the 365 Day Project goes strong.

Like a ghost amid ghosts...

My best friend, India, was getting married in a few days, so we didn’t have a lot of time for sightseeing.  Indeed, I saw almost nothing of Seattle, at least not compared to what I could’ve seen.  Sure, I tried some fantastic ice cream, and the thickest, chocolatiest hot chocolate this side of anywhere, but it was mostly work.

In the end, I got to attend the Bachelor Party and the Bachelorette Party.  I was the Bridesman.  If you’re expecting to see a wedding day shot of my in the bridemaid’s dress, you’ll be waiting a very long time.

In case you’re curious, India and Stephen were married this past Saturday.  I’ve known India for almost half my life.  That feels like a long time, especially with my birthday coming up.  If you have any of my books, you’ll see I’ve thanked her in every one of them.  If you have a book and the acknowledgements don’t mention an India, I will gladly explain how it actually does.  You just have to know what you’re looking for.
