Third 25/52 – Borderlands

Sometimes, there’s a house, there, on the borderlands between one place and another.

Sometimes such places are definable by terms we can easily understand: between the north and the south, between one country and another; between the land and the sea.

Sometimes, the Borderlands are less easily definable, and these are the places to which we retreat from the depths of our darkest dreams, where we seek solace or comfort; or these are the places from which we set out on our most incredible adventures.
